Language Difficulties and Methods of Addressing It in Teaching Arabic as The Second Language Among International and Local Students in Malaysia

This study aims to identify the most important language problems that hinder learners of Arabic as a foreign language in Malaysia, also aims to develop an imagine proposal to solve such difficulties. In order to achieve the objectives of this study the researcher had designed a questionnaire. It contains all the information pertaining to the student during his study of Arabic as a second language. This information was collected through this questionnaire using the descriptive analytical method, which has been applied on 80 students from four schools in Malaysia. The researcher used the program (SPSS) to analyse the questionnaire, and processing data statistically and she has reached the end that: The difficulties faced by Arabic language learners in Malaysia, which embodies in the rareness of specialized institutes. Even if they are existing, they are using a weak curricula and old teaching methods. In addition, the lack of educational competencies and enough period to learn the language. On the other hand, the lack of adequate attention by the competent authorities in the ministry of Education. In terms of the number of classes allocated to the Arabic language as a basic language like other languages for example, take care of homework, the need to urge parents through continuous awareness classes in school meetings for parents, and through awareness programs in the channels.
